Yes, I remember Eden
That place from long ago
The trees of green, the sky so blue,
And gentle winds did blow
All creatures dwelt in amity
With each other and with man
They had no fear of Adam and Eve
As side by side they ran
All creatures knew their Maker
The fellowship was sweet
Their voices raised in harmony
As they worshipped at His feet
Then came the day, that fateful day
Creation fell, and joy was lost
But redemption was already planned
Although at highest cost
The Savior came and paid the price
It cost His very life
He said, “I’m making all things new.”
He is the Risen King
I’ll see the reborn Eden
When the King returns, my friend
Birds and beasts and humankind
Worship at His feet, time without end.
